FAQs1. The actual Prairie Hills Healthy Challenge runs June 1-30. You cannot enter activity before June 1st. You will have until July 5th to enter your steps of activity. 2. This challenge is to increase physical activity. The challenge will count steps as you take a virtual hike across northeastern South Dakota. 3. This challenge is to reduce holiday stress and avoid weight gain by increasing physical activity. The challenge will count steps. 4. Pedometers provide an excellent estimate of the number steps you take each day but are not perfect counters. Wear your pedometer at your waist just over your hip. Pedometers need to sit vertically to function properly. If you can not wear it at your waist, try at your ankle. |
