FAQs1. You can receive one point for each minute of moderate and vigorous physical activity you do each day. If currently inactive, increase your activity gradually. Keep moving! 2. The challenge runs January 15-February 29 and is open to all South Dakota adults. You cannot enter activity before January 15. You have until March 4 to enter your minutes.
3. No incentive is offered this challenge. The incentive is better health! 4. The challenge counts minutes of physical activity, with 10 minutes the minimum amount you must be engaged in physical activity at one time. Strive for at least 150 minutes per week of moderate or vigorous-intensity physical activity.

This HealthySD Challenge done in collaboration with the South Dakota State Medical Association encourages you to be more physically active to improve your health. The challenge is open to all South Dakota adults.
This challenge counts your minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activity.
You will not see where to enter your points until the challenge start date of January 15th.
Be sure to update your profile as we'll have a little friendly competition between communities based on your zip code.
