Health Message Many foods contain calcium. But low-fat and fat-free milk products – milk, yogurt, and cheese- are particularly excellent sources because they are high in calcium. Most milk if fortified with vitamin D, and some milk products, such as yogurts, also have vitamin D (which helps the body absorb calcium). Because some milk products are also high in fat, it’s important to choose low-fat or fat-free versions of these foods.
